Steven Adams has spent more then a year of his life underwater and has taught thousands of people how to SCUBA dive. When he was young Steven watched Sea Hunt and got inspired to one day become a diver. Split Fins! Steven's Fins of Choice

In the debate of paddle vs split Steven has made a split decision. Actually everyone who works at the Anacapa Dive Center uses these, they are our favorite. If you are undecided which you prefer come into our dive center to experience the difference in our 90 degree pool and try for yourself.

Weekend Open Water Class

Our weekend Open Water Class is going great. After two days of pool and classroom the students are really enjoying the new useful skills (especially mask clearing and regulator recovery =) Tomorrow we will get to do fun things like hovering and schedule the beach dives and boat trip so they can finish the certification next week! If anyone would like to join us on the Peace Boat next March 22nd call the Anacapa Dive Center to schedule a spot. It is going to be a lot of fun and we look forward to diving with everyone out at the Channel Islands.

Teaching SCUBA

We love to teach SCUBA to anyone of any age! Recently we took Cate, a local school, out to the Channel Islands to certify them as Open Water divers! The diving was amazing and the vis was WAY better then the beach dives we had done the day before at Butterfly Beach.

Night Diving at Anacapa

Recently the Anacapa Dive Center chartered the Peace Boat for a Day / Night diving trip to the Channel Islands. We had 4 dives, two day and a dusk/night and Dark night dive! It was so much fun and we love the guys on the Peace, thanks for making it such a wonderful adventure!
